About these terms
These terms describe use of this website and the enquiry process for Matt’s Handyman & Mowing, ABN 64 919 156 690, at 25 Carver Cres, Baulkham Hills NSW 2153. Specific work, prices and appointment arrangements are agreed directly with Matt before a booking is confirmed.
Free quote requests
Submitting a quote request is free and does not create a booking, require you to purchase a service or guarantee availability. The form sends an enquiry; it does not display an instant price. Any charge for an additional assessment or other service must be explained and agreed before it is incurred.
Quotes, scope and changes
A quote depends on the details provided and may require clarification or inspection. Confirm the tasks, materials, waste handling and total price, including any applicable tax, before accepting work. Additional work or changes to the agreed scope must be discussed and agreed before proceeding.
Bookings and property access
Appointment times are confirmed directly. Provide accurate job information and tell Matt about access restrictions, pets and known hazards. You must have authority to request the work, including any necessary owner or property-manager permission. Unsafe conditions may mean work needs to be postponed or reassessed.
Service suitability
Website descriptions are general information. Each job is assessed for suitability. Work requiring a specialist qualification or licence is not included unless the appropriate arrangements are expressly confirmed.
Weather, cancellations and rescheduling
Outdoor work may need to be rescheduled because of weather or site conditions. Contact Matt as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a visit. Any applicable cancellation arrangements must be disclosed and agreed as part of the booking; submitting this form alone does not create a cancellation charge.
Payment
Payment amounts, timing and accepted methods are stated in the agreed quote or invoice. Do not assume a deposit, payment period or recurring service has been arranged unless it has been confirmed directly.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law. Services must meet applicable consumer guarantees. If there is a problem with the work, contact Matt with the details so it can be assessed and an appropriate remedy discussed.
