Water spills over the gutter edge

Staining does not prove that debris is the only cause; leaking joins, corrosion, displaced roofing or flashing may also be involved. Include both a close photo of the mark and a wider view showing the roofline above it when enquiring about residential gutter cleaning.
Gutters sag or pull away
A sagging gutter can hold water and debris, but it may also have failed brackets or damaged fascia. Cleaning alone will not correct a structural defect. Birds, insects or pests gather near one section

A lack of obvious overflow does not confirm that gutters are clear. Tree cover, gutter guards, roof design and recent storms all affect how quickly debris accumulates. After major wind or leaf fall, use safe ground-level observations and arrange an assessment if there are signs of build-up.
